The story

Christmas Rose 3.25 in Drop - Christmas Ornament

The poinsettia's origins can be traced back to 1834 when German scientist Johann Friedrich Klotzsch identified it as a new species. Klotzsch attributed the species name "pulcherrima" to Carl Ludwig Willdenow. While they may not share a physical resemblance, the poinsettia's German equivalent is the "Christmas rose" (Helleborus niger). Known as Christrose, Schneerose, or Weihnachtsrose in German, this central European plant blooms during the winter months from December to March.

Our handcrafted Christmas baubles are manufactured in Germany. Artisans paint each piece by hand, resulting in a unique product. Owing to their lightweight design, these ornaments are suitable for decorating even delicate branches.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase for items in new, unused condition with a receipt. Please email tim@timothydeclue.com for approval before sending anything back. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and shipping charges are not refundable.
