The story of the pickle has been told for generations. Some say it was born in Germany, where glassblowers in Lauscha — the birthplace of Christmas ornaments — first crafted sparkling pickles alongside their baubles. Others believe it’s an American tall tale that became too fun not to play. Either way, the tradition has stuck (just like a pickle in a tree!).

Each of our glass pickles is hand-painted and patinated in our Steinach workshop, making every one slightly different and full of personality. And because a pickle deserves nothing less, it comes packaged inside a 16 oz vintage-style canning jar — ready to gift, display, or surprise your friends and family with an extra laugh.
