Our Story

"It's not just design. It's a lifestyle."

Timothy De Clue has spent his career in visual merchandising and design, dressing stores, homes and hotels for the holidays. The collection is where that eye for storytelling becomes something you can hang on your own tree.

"I remember when I was in the second or third grade making wreaths to take to the neighbors. I've always loved Christmas."

The Approach

Merchandised like the great department stores

Timothy learned his craft on the floors of Robinsons May and Meier & Frank, and he still works the way those stores did: every piece is chosen to tell a story, and every table is dressed as a scene.

The collection brings together European and luxury brands with a focus on traditional elegance, alongside exclusive pieces he designs and develops himself.

  • Tell a story Pieces are grouped into scenes, the way a holiday window once was.
  • Old-world craft Ornaments made in Europe and painted by hand, some blown in antique molds.
  • Approachable luxury European sophistication, rooted in the Pacific Northwest.
The Journey

From Georgetown to First Avenue, and onto your tree

  1. The early years

Learning the craft of the window

Timothy honed his visual merchandising skills at Robinsons May and Meier & Frank, part of the May Company, learning to tell stories with merchandise.

  2. 2011

    Seventy Christmases a year

The Seattle Times visited his Seward Park home that December and reported he was decorating more than 70 properties each holiday season, including the Four Seasons and the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. His shop at the time, Le’ Objects, was in Georgetown.

  3. 2015

    Downtown on First Avenue

The shop moved downtown to 1307 First Avenue and took his name: Timothy De Clue Collection. Seattle Magazine listed it among the city’s top home shops that spring.

  4. 2017

A larger space, a few blocks away

The collection moved into a larger space at 1124 First Avenue, carrying brands such as Waterford alongside Timothy’s signature candles.

  5. 2022–23

A holiday pop-up at Bellevue Square

The collection took up a seasonal residence inside Bellevue Square, the Pacific Northwest’s premier shopping center, bringing the holiday shop to a new audience across the lake from Seattle.

  6. 2023

    Pacific Place

A showroom of about 5,000 square feet opened at Pacific Place on Pine Street, in the heart of downtown Seattle.

  7. Today

Online, and at the holiday pop-up

The collection now lives online, with seasonal pop-ups around the Seattle area. Many ornaments are designed by Timothy and made in Europe.
