These Wooden Hand Carved set of 3 Deer made in East Germany These miniature deer are ready to make a home with you. Each one is cuter than the next. There is one grazing, one sniffing and one just checking its surroundings. The deer are in amazing new old stock wrapped in paper vintage condition.

During the 18th century in the Erzgebirge region, this area of Germany was a thriving mining community. For centuries the Erzgebirge mines produced everything from silver to tin to even uranium. Miners who worked far below the surface of the earth for most of the day used to make their own handmade German crafts, resulting in these wonderful miniature wonders. 

These deer were made in the German Democratic Republic
