Vintage wooden Easter bunny painting eggs figurine. Delightful handcrafted wood en figurine.  A wonderful addition to your vintage Erzgebirge collection.

Figurine on base measures approx. 4 inches tall, including ears. Wear and color loss is consistent with age. Use zoom feature for close up views. Marked on bottom "Made in East Germany
These are in amazing new old stock vintage condition.

During the 18th century in the Erzgebirge region, this area of Germany was a thriving mining community. For centuries the Erzgebirge mines produced everything from silver to tin to even uranium. Miners who worked far below the surface of the earth for most of the day used to make their own handmade German crafts, resulting in these wonderful miniature wonders. 

These bunny figurine were made in the German Democratic Republic. Labels and price tags are still intact on all Pieces, as they’re new old stock.
